Two more weeks, kids, and TERRA book two should be ready to hit edits. What have I learned about writing novels with book two? Starting a book is AWESOME. It's like starting a marathon--you have everyone cheering you on, all the momentum of the new scenery, and your gameplan freshly in your head, but come oh, 3/4 of the way through the book, much like 3/4 of the way through a marathon, you hit...the wall. Everything sucks. This is not a happy place at all, and were it not for my fantastic friends and family who put up with my curmudgeonly hermit-ness, I might not be on track for this deadline. So now, in the homestretch, some of that beginning momentum has come back because I can see the finish line, and I CAN. NOT. WAIT. to start this summer's trailer project, book tour, and yep, once I forget about the pain editing will be...definitely, AER: Book Three.
